Changing SES Hospedajes WS (API) Password

To be used as the SES API credentials in sesadmin.net

A web (internet) service is also known as an Application Programming Interface (API) and sesadmin.net refer to it as "SES API Info" and the format of these are shown below.

These specific usernames and passwords are COMPLETELY different from the username and passwords you use to access SES Hospedajes from your laptop or desktop computers, sesadmin.net refers to these as your "SES WEB Info"

In order to activate the process automation that sesadmin.net provides to tourist accommodation owners or managers, the SES Hospedajes system MUST to be connected to the sesadmin.net system.


When SES Hospedajes new accounts are created, the users MUST tick the web (internet) service box so SES Hospedajes can generate a specific username and password to allow the two systems to securely connect. 


This VERY IMPORTANT check box is located on the same page where you originally registered your "Entity Data" (personal details) as shown below:

As part of your original SES Hospedajes account registration process, you MUST also add your 1st property to get your Establishment Code for it, also without this you will not be able to register any future guests with or without sesadmin.net 


When you review and confirm your registration details in the screen above

SES Hospedajes will then send you an email confirming the following:

  • Registration number
  • Landlord/Renter code
  • Establishment Code
  • Username: **********WS (The WS on the end is for Web Service)
  • Password:  

Should you do not receive the email from the Ministry of the Interior or if you have forgotten the password for the web services part of the SES HOSPEDAJES platform, you can follow these instructions below to “change password” for the web services username which ends in WS, as shown above.


To do this you will need to use your digital certificate to access the SES Hospedajes system to do this, start with this screen, which is accessible via this link:

Then you will see the following screen once you have verified your digital certificate and SES Hospedajes have authorised your access to their system:

You need to choose the box with the title of "Communication Service" and upon clicking this box you will see the following screen, where you can change the password. 

You may or may NOT be notified of this password change by SES Hospedajes, so keep this password safe, and send it to [email protected] along with your NIE number and the username of your account for sesadmin.net which is an email address, we will then update and reconnect the systems for you.

Reconnecting your sesadmin.net system account to the SES Hospedajes system with new WS (API) password: 

Once you have changed the WS (API) password only, you need to login to sesadmin.net go to:

  1. Settings
  2. Then choose General, where you will see the screen above
  3. Then choose "SES Web Services (API)" and enter your:


  • Password you have just reset in SES Hospedajes


Your sesadmin.net account will now reconnect and start sending all data we collect from you (bookings) and the guest registration data (guests) and submit everything to SES Hospedajes for you from this point onwards
