How to connect RentalWise PMS

Due to popular demand from many property managers we have started to add direct API integrations with many PMS systems, rentalwise.com is one of them.

This guide assumes you have an existing account in sesadmin.net which is powered by GuestAdmin Services which is why the Add-On in RentalWise is named as such.

The first thing to do is to prepare your RentalWise account to be ready to connect it to sesadmin.net to do this you will need to:

1. Go to "integrations" in the left side menu

2. Then click on "Add Channel" a pop up will appear

3. Scroll until you find the Channel "GuestAdmin"

4. Click "Connect" on the GuestAdmin channel, it will be added to your RentalWise Integrations screen as shown below

5. Then click "View" the first time you do this will generate a unique API Key for this specific integration, so please store it somewhere securely for use in a moment within the sesadmin.net system.

6. Now login to sesadmin.net/login and go to the "Integrations" section

7. A pop up box will appear asking for the RentalWise API key that you should have copied from them. You should paste it here, and click "Connect".

8. Once it is successful, the integrations page will auto refresh to show the RentalWise integration in its "Connected" state, where there are additional options.

9. BEFORE accessing the main "RentalWise Management" option, you MUST decide if you would like RentalWise or sesadmin.net to provide your automated email service. You have to choose one or the other by clicking the above "Cog" button. This setting can be changed at a later date if you want to change it.

You are now ready to do the following within the RentalWise Management section of the system and process, where we will be:

1. Synchronising & linking the properties between RentalWise & SESAdmin

2. Synchronising the RentalWise bookings to the SESAdmin properties

To do this you must first synchronise the properties that are setup with the RentalWise system to the SESAdmin system, then link them by going into the "Properties" section of the sesadmin.net and updating them after choosing the correct RentalWise property to connect them to as follows:

After mapping to link all the RentalWise properties to the existing properties within sesadmin.net the properties main page will look like this below, where the RentalWise icon will be shown, to tell you it is a linked property and where from in case you have other integrations connected to the SESAdmin systems.

Going back to the Integration and clicking "RentalWise Management" button will return you to the main page to administer your integration connection

1. You should ONLY start to synchronise your bookings to your properties AFTER you have completed the above Synchronisation, Mapping and Linking your properties in RentalWise to the properties in this system. Now click on "Sync Bookings" in the pop up box shown in the above screen.

You can if needed synchronise an individual property such as edited or new ones which does not require a full sync.
